Mastering Basic FactsThe goal for all 5th graders is to be proficient with all fact families thru 12!
Multiplication is the foundation for several more complex skills. It is imperative that you do your best to master them early on! The goal 3 seconds or less per problem! Continue to practice your basic multiplication facts by using your flashcards and utilizing www.multiplication.com. Remember... the goal is to improve fluency and accuracy! You will continue to re-take two fact family quizzes of your choice every week until you pass! Keep working hard and you will get it!!! New CurriculumWe are trying very hard to cover all of the math curriculum as thorough as possible. Trust us when we say, we understand your frustrations with not only learning advanced concepts, but having them presented in a way that is also new to all of us!
You can expect your child to have math homework almost every night. Please use your child's Rally binder as a resource for you to assist your son / daughter at home! You can also utilize the Think Central website for additional practice; as well as video links above for homework support.
